This is my firs...

This is my first effort at writing a blog. I’m not really sure exactly what I will talk about, but the idea is to try and stay more connected with my wonderful friends and family who are spread out across the earth! I also feel that since quitting my job nearly 3 years ago, I have been on quite a journey of discovery; about me and the world and how to get the most out of life. I feel like I’ve learnt so much and come further in 3 years than I did in 30! (Maybe that’s a bit hard on 30 year old me?) I still have a lot of unanswered questions though and things to figure out. I might talk about some of that too in this blog…..as it happens. So I thought I’d start with a few quotes which have jumped out at me in the last few years….

‘Intuition: The direct knowing of something, without conscious reasoning.’

‘All human progress is the result of far sighted people challenging orthodoxy, tradition and rich powerful vested interests.’

‘Have you ever experienced, done or thought or felt anything outside the now? Nothing ever happened in the past, it happened in the now. Nothing will ever happen in the future, it will happen in the now.’

When I looked back at some of the key decisions I’ve made in the last 3 years….they all had one thing in common…..I didn’t have to think too much about them….I just knew they were the right thing. I’m guessing I used my intuition on those occasions!! So now I’m looking out for things which just feel obviously right! I have some decisions to make at the end of this year about what direction to take my career in….and I feel like there is an obvious option there too!
